Bulb baster is a
device that consists of a large glass tube fitted with a rubber at one
end and in used in basting meat. Basting involves cooking meat with
either its own juices or some type of preparation such as a sauce or
marinade. It is done to prevent food from becoming dry and to add
flavor.
 
How to use Bulb Baster
- Squeeze the head of the bulb baster to create partial vacuum.
- Then insert the stem into the juices at the bottom of the pan.
- Release the pressure on the bulb.
- Then the juices are drawn into the stem.
- After that they are transferred to the surface of the meat.

to distribute liquids over the outside of the meat.
- Bulb baster with a injector nozzle is used for
injecting juices, herbs or other liquids into the meat. It has a
needle like nozzle.
