Deep fryer uses specific oils only. You can use olive oil, vegetable
oil or peanut oil. Butter and margarines should not be used because they
will smoke excessively.
Components of Deep Fryer
- It is equipped with an oil reservoir.
- Removable lid.
- High quality replaceable filter to reduce cooking odors.
- Variable temperature control.
- Frying basket that should not be filled more than ½ or 2/3.
If it is filled more than this then the temperature of the oil will
decrease below the optimal frying temperature.
