Frying pan is a
long handled, round pan with short sloping sides. Sloping sides makes it
easier to toss and turn food with a spatula. It is also called
Skillet. It is used specifically for frying foods but
can also be used for sauteing. They are available in a range of sizes
and depth. The majority of frying pans are made with non stick material
to reduce the amount of oil needed for stir frying.
