Lifting Spatula
Lifting spatula is
a type of spatula that is typically used to remove items that are being
cooked from pots, skillets and other bakewares. These spatulas are
versatile and depending on different tasks they have different shapes
and sizes. The spatula can have a long, narrow, a wide or slotted blade.
 
Types of Lifting Spatula
- Slotted Lifting Spatula - Made with blades that
have perforated holes to allow for handling of moist foods. The
excess liquid drains away from the holes in the blades.
- Narrow Lifting Spatula - Made of a long, narrow
blade that can be used for lifting lighter objects.
- Wider Lifting Spatula - Made of long and wide
blade used to securely hold items like fried eggs, potatoes or fish.
Types of Blades
- Stiff Blades - These are used for lifting
heavier objects.
- Flexible Blades - These are used to transfer
delicate foods like pancakes, eggs etc.
