Steaming refers to a cooking method in which items are cooked in a vapor bath by boiling water or other liquids. It is the most healthy way of cooking without direct contact with water. There are special steaming utensils that are used for such cooking methods.

Smoking refers to the process of curing, cooking or seasoning food by exposing it for long periods of time to the smoke from a fire. Special cooking utensils are available in the market for cooking foods by the use of smoke.
