Types of Tea Pot
Kettles may be electric or for stovetop use.
- Electric Tea Pot : They are fastest to heat and
provide convenience and beauty.
- Stovetop Tea Pot : They can be placed easily on
the stove. They take longer time as compared to the electric kettle.
Tea Pot Materials
- Copper Tea Pot : Copper is the most conductive
material for making kettles. The kettle will heat water from all
sides. They cannot be placed over high heat.
- Glass Tea Pot : They are beautiful and easy to
clean.
- Stainless Steel Tea Pot : They are durable and
easiest to care for. They are slower to boil than most other tea
kettles.
Tea Pot Finishes
- Cast Iron Tea Pot : They are most often used on
heaters and they don't rust easily.
- Anodized Aluminum Tea Pot : They are extremely
good conductor of electricity and can heat fastest.
- Enameled Tea Pot : They come in beautiful
colors and are easy to clean. Extra care is required to prevent them
from chipping.
- Ceramic Tea Pot : They are non reactive and can
be used on the stove.
Tea Pot Shapes
They are most commonly available in a form that is rounded from middle,
a flat base and a narrow mouth for pouring in tea to any cup. There are
several other shapes in which tea cups are formed. Some of the shape
